MUMBAI: Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the biggest names down South. With her performance in The Family Man season 2 and her special number in Pushpa: The Rise, the actress grabbed the attention of the Hindi audience as well.  

Last year, unfortunately, the actress was diagnosed with Myositis, and posted about it on social media. After a very long time, Samantha made her public appearance at the trailer launch of her movie Shaakuntalam. While she looked stunning, a page on Twitter trolled her by posting that she has lost her charm and glow.

Sam gave it back to the troll and wrote, “I pray you never have to go through months of treatment and medication like I did .. And here’s some love from me to add to your glow.” Well, to support her, Varun Dhawan tweeted, “U don’t feel bad abt anything u just care about clickbait feel bad for u son. Also glow is avaliable in instagram filters. Jsut meet Sam trust me she was glowing .”

Talking about Samantha’s movies, the actress will be seen in Shaakuntalam and Kushi. The former, which also stars Dev Mohan, is slated to release on 17th February 2023. It’s a Telugu film, but it will be dubbed and released in various languages including Hindi. Meanwhile, the release date of Kushi has not been announced. 

There have been reports that Samantha will be seen in the Indian installment of Citadel which also stars Varun Dhawan in the lead role. While the makers have officially announced Varun’s casting in the series, Samantha’s official announcement is yet to be made.
