Sandeepa Dhar said, “I was about 2-3 months old jab humne Kashmir chhoda tha, that’s when the militancy had started. Tab bhaage the Kashmir se, toh meri parvarish mainly Delhi, Bangalore aur Bombay mein hui hai. Jab tak main badi hui tab tak hum bhaag chuke the Kashmir se and kaafi in a way difficult childhood tha kyuki mom dad ko shuruat se shuru karni padi, kyuki humara ghar tha woh sab chhod diya, jab ghar se bhaage the toh ye soch ke bhaage the ki 2-3 mahino mein wapas aa jayenge kyuki yeh problem sought ho jayegi aur humlog apne ghar wapas aa jayenge toh ek suitcase leke nikle the ki abhi aa jayenge wapas 30 saal ho gaye wapas kabhi nahi gaye...”
Apart from acting, Sandeepa Dhar is also trained in Bharatanatyam, Jazz, and Contemporary dance.
