Sangeeta Bijlani's Bollywood comeback plans hit a roadblock

Sangeeta Bijlani's comeback plans into Bollywood have gone kaput. The actress who was supposed to return to the arclights with director Onir's Shab has now reportedly quit the project. The chief villain who made Sangeeta leave happens to be the heavy duty kissing and love making scenes. Sangeeta was reportedly not at all comfortable with the same. Sangeeta, who had quit films post her marriage to cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin, was quite upbeat about returning to Bollywood after more than a decade. She had met Onir at a party and the duo hit it off well. The director later called and offered her a role in Shab. Sangeeta too was quite excited about her part which was that of a high society diva. All was going well until Sangeeta started doing the workshops for the film. Sources say that here she learnt about the kissing and love making scenes that her character would have to perform onscreen. Not comfortable with the level of intimacy, Sangeeta shared her concern with Onir and backed out of the project. Onir too didn't want to compromise on the story and let the actress go hoping that he would get to work with her sometime soon on another project. Well, one person's loss is another's gain. Let's wait and see who will step into Sangeeta's shoes.
