MUMBAI: The fans all over the nation were praying for the actor, Sanjay Dutt after being diagnosed with Lung cancer, and the good news is that the actor has now been responding well to the treatment. In August, Sanjay Dutt had taken to social media to announce that he’s taking a medical break to take care of his health. Before beginning with the treatment, Dutt had dashed off to Dubai to meet his kids- Shahraan and Iqra. During his stay, Sanjay Dutt’s wife Maanayata kept their fans entertained with their stunning family pictures. Now a close family source revealed that the Sadak 2 actor has been responding well to the cancer treatment.
A close family member revealed to PTI, “The news was like he has got six months or this month to live, (but) it has never been that scene. He was detected with a kind of lung cancer for which treatment started in Mumbai and he has responded very well to the treatment. He went for his test today and the results have come out very good. With God's grace and everyone's blessings, he has responded very well.”

After returning from Dubai, Sanjay Dutt had visited celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim’s salon for the first time after a cancer diagnosis. Earlier, his wife Maanayata Dutt had issued a statement that read “Sanju has always been a fighter, and so has our family. God has yet again chosen to test us to overcome the challenges ahead. All we seek is your prayers and blessings, and we know we will emerge as winners on the other side, as we always have.”
On the work front, Sanjay Dutt is gearing up for the shoot of his upcoming film KGF: Chapter2.
