MUMBAI: Tellychakkar is back with yet another exciting update from the world of entertainment.
A well-known face in the Gujarati theatre and film scene, Pratik Gandhi has also done a few Hindi and English language films. But it’s his portrayal of stockbroker Harshad Mehta in Hansal Mehta’s recent web series, Scam 1992, that has made him a nationwide sensation. Social media is flooded with praises for his acting prowess and Gandhi falls short of words talking about this overwhelming response.

Pratik Gandhi's name was also included in the Limca Book of Records with his play Mohan's Masala; a monologue performed in three languages, English, Hindi, and Gujarati on the same day. He played a lead role in his next Wrong Side Raju (2016), which also became commercially and critically successful. The movie went on to win the National Award for Best Gujarati Film.
Now the latest buzz is that Pratik Gandhi will be next seen in a Gujarati comedy film directed and produced by Hardik Gajjar.
According to our sources, the shoot of the film will start next month.
Hardik Gajjar is a renowned director having directed several films, TV Serials, Web series, Music Videos. He won accolades for his directorial debut in the Web series format with "The Casino" which is now featuring on the OTT platform Zee5.
Well, this will be great news for millions of fans of Pratik Gandhi has earned with his terrific performance in the 1992 scam web show. It would be a delight to see him on the big screen again.
