Shah Rukh Khan’s Birthday is near and fans will have a virtual Birthday Bash for King Khan

As Shah Rukh Khan turns 55 on November 2, his fans will have a virtual celebration by cutting a cake, and playing games online

MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan will turn 55 on November 2, and his birthday is no less than a festival in India. To make the superstar’s day extra special, SRK’s fans, every year make sure to gather outside his bungalow Mannat and wish him on his birthday and send love in abundance. Acknowledging their love and sweet gestures for him, Shah Rukh Khan’s balcony appearance with little AbRam is one of the customs that the superstar is following for years now. But owing to COVID-19, this year’s birthday celebrations for SRK and his fans seem to go digital. If the latest reports are anything to go by Shah Rukh Khan’s fans have planned to gather online and celebrate Badshah’s birthday virtually. 

As Shah Rukh Khan turns 55 on November 2, his fans will join the celebrations by clicking on a link and they will cut the cake at their respective homes on Sunday night. However, the next day i.e., Nov 2, fans will also host a virtual birthday party on Monday at 11 am with selfie booths, games, SRK quizzes, live interactions among the fans, and some performances. Yash Paryani, a member of one of the fan clubs, revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “This year, we need to do everything virtually but ensure the celebrations are still grand, considering it’s a festival for us. Fans will have a virtual experience of being at Mannat from Sunday midnight through live streaming.”

Yash added, “Even if he can’t, I’m sure he will do something special because he loves his fans and treats them like family.” He further said, “Approximately 5000 fans from across the globe will come together for the virtual celebration.” 

As per the online reports, his fans also have multiple charitable activities planned. They will distribute 5555 Covid kits with masks and sanitisers, 5555 meals to the needy, visiting orphanages and old-age homes. Not only that, due to COVID outbreak, SRKians will also host a special virtual screening of DDLJ on the same day.
