Salman Khan thanks audience for watching 'Race 3'
Superstar Salman Khan has thanked those who have watched his latest film Race 3 in theatres and supported it.
On Friday, Salman tweeted, "I thank everyone who has gone to see Race 3 in the theatres and each and everyone individually for watching it and glad that you have liked and appreciated every one's effort that was put in the movie. God bless and keep watching. It means a lot."
Race 3 has crossed Rs 130 crore at the box office in India since releasing on 15 June. It was not widely lauded by critics, but Salman's fan following and the love for the Race franchise have contributed to the numbers generated at the box office.
Ram Avatar Bhardawaj to essay Atal Bihari Vajpayee in a film
Actor Ram Avatar Bhardawaj is on board to essay former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the film The Accidental Prime Minister.
Actor Anupam Kher, who plays former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the film, shared the news with a photograph of himself and Ram dressed in their respective looks for the movie.
"Introducing Ram Avatar Bhardawaj as former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji in the movie The Accidental Prime Minister," Anupam tweeted on Friday.
The film is based on a book by Sanjaya Baru, a former media advisor to Manmohan Singh. Akshaye Khanna features as Baru, and Divya Seth Shah plays Manmohan Singh's wife Gursharan Kaur in the movie.
Directed by debutant Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, along with Hansal Mehta as the creative producer, the film is slated to release on 21 December.
The script of the film, produced by Bohra Bros, is written by Mayank Tewari.
KL Rahul denies dating Nidhhi Agerwal
Cricketer KL Rahul says he is not dating Munna Michael actress Nidhhi Agerwal.
When asked about his relationship with Nidhhi, he said, "We have known each other since our college days. We are just good friends and all the rumours are false."
On his bond with cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma, he said, "There was one instance after a match at Melbourne where I had a terrible performance. I was miserable and depressed.”
"Anushka, who noticed this, came up to my room and asked me to accompany her and Virat to their dinner date. The couple talked me through their similar experiences and that helped me understand how to manage these situations better.”
"They took immense care of me and ensured I was not alone. They even made sure I spent the New Year night with them. They are an amazing couple and have really had a powerful influence on me," he added.
Sonakshi Sinha rewrites Honey Singh's 'Love dose'
Actress Sonakshi Sinha has rewritten the lyrics of Honey Singhs hit "Love dose", and will sing it during the Da-Bangg tour.
Sonakshi has rewritten from a girl's perspective and will be seen performing it as part of every city's act.
The tour, which also features stars like Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandez and Daisy Shah, will begin in Atlanta on Friday.
"I'm really excited about the tour more so because I will not just be dancing, I will also be singing something special," Sonakshi said in a statement.

Mukul Dev steps in Mithun Chakraborty's shoes
Mithun Chakraborty was the first choice of director Vinod Tiwari to play the character of Don Arru, for his upcoming film Teri Bhabhi Hain Pagle, as he feels the senior actor has the persona and can easily carry the character. But because of dates issue he had to drop Mithun Chakraborty and signed Mukul Dev to fill his shoes.
Speaking about it, the director said, "I feel no one can play Don's character better than Mithun da and I was looking forward to work with him as he was very excited about the role. Because of date issue we couldn't shoot with him and I feel Mukul is perfect person to fill his shoes for the character and he has done tremendous job in the film."
