MUMBAI: Recently, there have been a lot of movie announcements that have made the audience curious and excited, be it with the expectation with the storyline of the movie or be it the cast of the movie. There are times when the audience gets a unique treat due to the unique concept of the movie.

With a lot of movie announcements, we got one that really made us all thrilled and curious at the same time. So we got to see Ajay Devgn finally announcing his upcoming movie ‘Shaitaan’ which is said to be a Hindi remake of a Gujarati movie titled ‘Vash’. Vikas Behl is the director of "Shaitaan," which features Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, Janki Bodiwala, and Jyothika in key parts. Based on a tale of black magic, the film depicts a conflict between good and evil, with a man standing in for malevolence and a family for the forces of righteousness.

Although the movie's teaser left everyone intrigued and enthralled, there's something coming that will definitely suck you in.

Earlier we reported the makers are soon to come with the trailer of the movie and they have announced the release date of the trailer. We had also reported some details regarding the trailer and also the certificate given by CBFC.

Now the makers have finally released the trailer of the movie. Check out the trailer below:

The trailer of the movie is finally here but fails to draw a lot of attention. In the trailer we get to see Ajay Devgn and Jyothika as husband and wife while R. Madhavan enters their house as a stranger and not just refuses to leave but also takes control of their daughter Janvi, played by Janki Bodiwala.

As an interesting fact, Janki Bodiwala was also a major part of ‘Vash’, the Guratai movie and played the same character too.

The trailer is surely giving goose bumps to the audience but here’s something that the audience is getting to see. Ajay Devgn is a great actor but this time it feels like he is simply sleepwalking in a park. R. Madhavan is here with a unique character and while it is something impressive, it does not seem enough to save the movie.

Janki Bodiwala is playing the same character and yet her performance looked better in the original Gujarati movie ‘Vash’. According to the trailer, we can also see that there’s not much we can expect from Jyothika.

While the trailer is out, the setting of the movie doesn’t seem to be better than the original Gujarati movie and fails to impress the audience with its genre.

The BGM is something that is hyping the trailer.

Looking at the trailer, can we expect a good turnaround for this movie? Can we expect something different or better from the original movie? Fingers crossed!

Meanwhile, the movie is set to release on 8th June this year.
