MUMBAI : Actress Shilpa Shetty, who made her acting debut in 1993's Baazigar, feels she was never given the credit she deserved. She is a big name in the industry. Her talent and acting skills are wonderful. The actress is married to businessman Raj Kundra and the duo along with their two children are living a luxurious life.
Shilpa who celebrates her 49th birthday today is known for her sultry dance moves. She shared an anecdote for her song Main Aayi Hoon UP Bihar Lootne. Ahmed Khan, the song's choreographer, did not give Shilpa Shetty any precise dance moves to follow, according to her co-star Kusha Kapila from the movie Sukhee. Rather, all she was told to do was 'latka jhatkas' and have fun while singing Main Aayi Hoon UP Bihar Lootne.
The actress reveled, “The choreographer of that song, Ahmed Khan, is a good friend of mine. He just turned on the camera and said, ‘Kuch latke jhatke maar le (do some dance steps).’ So, what you saw that happened very organically. I was just literally grooving to the beat.”
Shilpa went on to say that she had constructed her song's outfit at home just two hours before leaving for the shoot. She remembered that in her house, two hours before her flight, 'tiklis' were being tied to her 'ghaghra'. There was not enough time to sew the outfit together, so they were decorating it instead.
