The former Ms. World has made a mark not only in the Hindi film industry but has also made her presence felt internationally. The Devdas actress who wowed her fans in her recently released film Ponniyin Selvan was replaced in many films, especially those of Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan.

Rani Mukerji replaced Aishwarya Rai in the film Chalte Chalte. Reportedly, her then boyfriend Salman Khan created a lot of nuisance on the set and SRK couldn't take it anymore.

On the popular chat show Rendezvous by Simi Grewal, Aishwarya mentioned that at one point she was replaced in 5 films. She did feel bad and was upset but then she picked herself up and regained her position as the No.1 actress of Bollywood.

Aishwarya has also mentioned how she has been treated like an outsider in the industry with unfair treatment and wished she had a backing like Alia Bhatt has from Karan Johar, who is always looking out for her.

SRK and Ash have also worked together in films like Josh, Devdas and Mohabbatein, which were massive hits.
