MUMBAI: Yami Gautam is known for her predominant work in not only Hindi cinema but also Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada cinema. Yami rose to fame after doing some commercials for 'Glow & Lovely'. She started her acting career by working for television shows like 'Chaand Ke Paar Chalo' and 'Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam'. She then shifted to South Indian cinema. She finally progressed to Hindi Cinema, where she achieved stardom after working for 'Vicky Donor'.

Recently, Yami Gautam took to her Twitter handle saying that her Instagram account seems to be hacked. She also said her followers on the social media platform to 'be aware' of any unwanted activity that take place from her account.
She tweeted, "Hi, This is to inform you all that I've been unable to access my Instagram account since yesterday, it's probably hacked. We're trying to recover it as soon as possible." Further, she cautioned her followers about any unusual activity on her account. She added, "Meanwhile, if there is any unusual activity through my account, please be aware of it. Thank you!"
There were mixed reactions from netizens. Some showed her sympathy and wished that her account gets revived. While some doubted her statement and pointed out the number of followers, likes, and posts are the same as before. One fan tweeted, "No problem. You can upload your videos and photos here for your fans.”
Nora Fatehi's Instagram handle got hacked in a similar manner in February. She had also released a statement to inform netizens about the same. however, Nora later thanked the Instagram team for helping her in getting the account back.
