MUMBAI: A few days back, a video of Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika clapping went viral on the internet. This was the first time that the audience and the entire world got a look at Vamika since she was born. In the past, Virat and Anushka have always requested the media not to click their daughter's pictures, and the star parents have even thanked everyone for cooperating with them. But during the latest India versus South Africa match, the video of Vamika shot by lensmen went viral on the internet. The couple took to their social media handles where they issued a joint statement in which they requested all the media houses and fans not to publish Vamika's pictures.

While some fans are agreeing to their request, others started trolling the couple and asking them why they brought their child to the stadium if they really wanted to hide her identity.

On the work front, Anushka Sharma will be seen in the upcoming film Chakda Xpress. The film has been inspired by the life and times of former Indian cricket captain Jhulan Goswami. Produced by Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh S Sharma’s Clean Slate Filmz, Chakda Xpress is directed by Prosit Roy. It will be premiere on Netflix. The actress will be also producing the films Mai and Qala.
