MUMBAI: Salman saw a string of flops in the early 2000s. The actor reinvented himself with 2009 movie Wanted. He achieved greater stardom with his roles in Dabangg (2010), Bodygaurd (2011), Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), and Sultan (2016).
Here is an interesting incident related to him. Back in 2015, Salman Khan was robbed by four pretty ladies who told him they were his big fans. After they left, the superstar realized that his wallet, sunglasses, and his Bajrangi Bhaijaan pendant were missing. The alleged incident happened when the superstar went to a club in Bandra one night, as per the Mumbai Mirror report.
Even after losing these things didn’t make a difference to Salman and so he refused to file a complaint with the cops. However, the actor later increased his security from 2 guards to 14! His sister Arpita Khan Sharma denied the incident.
However, filmmaker-producer Nandita Singga claims that the incident indeed happened. She said, “Yes, Salman was robbed and had to increase his security from two to 14 men.” It’s also worth pointing out that there’s no official confirmation that the alleged incident has happened.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan was last seen in Antim: The Final Truth helmed by Mahesh Manjrekar. He will be next seen in Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
He has Bhaijaan, a Farhad Samji film, lined up. The movie is being produced by Sajid Nadiawala and is slated to be released in 2023. The film is a remake of a Tamil film where the eldest brother refuses to marry since he believes it may create disharmony in his big family. His brothers who've already found partners, come together to find a match for Salman Khan's character. Pooja Hegde will be seen as Salman’s love interest and this is the first time that the two will be seen opposite each other.
