Shraddha Kapoor may replace Nargis Fakhri in Shaukeen remake

Yesterday there was news that Nargis Fakhri has walked out of Rohit Roy’s remake of Basu Chatterjee’s 1982 hit film Shaukeen. And when we tapped an insider by a text message, he texted back saying Aashiqui 2 fame Shraddha Kapoor is being considered to step into the role of Rati Agnihotri for the upcoming remake. The original film revolved around three old men Ashok Kumar, Utpal Dutt and AK Hangal who try to impress a young dancer Rati Agnihotri whose boyfriend was played by Mithun Chakraborty. The new film will have Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and Anupam Kher reprising the roles of the three old men while Akshay Kumar will step into the shoes of Mithun Chakraborty.
