MUMBAI :As the mega star celebrates his daughter Shweta’s 50th birthday, he threw her a grand birthday bash at their home in Prateeksha. Taking to his blog, Big B went down memory lane and shared sweet anecdotes. He wrote, “A day filled with the love of family and the greetings and the hilarity of the ‘progress reports’ ,” Bachchan wrote on his blog. “Birthdays galore… Shweta, the first born, and Nikhil her husband.. within a day of each other and the bringing in of the GOLDEN age – 50 years…!”
Shweta celebrated a lavish birthday party on 17th March and it was a star studded event. While mom Jaya and dad Amitabh attended the celebrations, Sister-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and brother Abhishek with their daughter Aradhya were conspicuous by their absence. Their absence once again raised eyebrows about the family dynamics.
Abhishek shared a sweet video montage of their childhood and other pictures on Instagram and captioned it, “Happy Birthday, Shwetdi!
I might not say it or show it, but you mean the world to me. Love you.”
