MUMBAI: Siddhant Chaturvedi roared on the big screen as he played the character of MC Sher in Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy. The actor made a mark with his very first role in Gully Boy, result of which was him bagging a project with the Yash Raj Films - Bunty Aur Babli 2. The actor has a massive fan following.
Ananya Panday , on the other hand, debuted in the same year and she was also welcomed by the audience and the critics. The only difference was that where Ananya was a star kid Siddhant came as an outsider.
Now the two had appeared together on a chat show where nepotism was one of the topics they had discussed. Ananya had said at that time, that she always wanted to be an actor and just because her dad was an actor doesn’t mean she wouldn’t become one.
She further said that, her dad had never done a Dharma Production movie and never went on Koffee with Karan, so it’s not that easy for people to say things as everyone has their own journey and their own struggle.

While everyone agreed with Ananya, Siddhant had a befitting reply to the actress' rant. He said the difference is that their struggle begins where our dreams are fulfilled.
Well this answer of Siddhant was applauded by the audience whereas Ananya was trolled and she is still trolled for it.
The audiences questioned her that is success measured by coming on Koffee With Karan. The internet has been lauding Siddhant for his response. A Twitter user wrote, in 4 seconds, #SiddhantChaturvedi summed up the struggle of outsiders and the upper hand celebrity kids have in the film industry!
