Sona Mohapatra says Kangana Ranaut ‘takes full advantage of the toxic star system’, adds nepotism must be wiped out

Sona Mohapatra said that actual content creators like writers were not rewarded in the film industry and only actors benefitted from the success of films.

MUMBAI: After Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely demise, the nepotism debate and insider Vs outsider debate has sparked off amongst the Twitterverse and in a matter of days, it picked up momentum on social media. In fact, the debate doesn't even seem to end anytime soon. Several stars from the Bollywood and television industry have shared their perspective towards nepotism and insider Vs outsider topic and now speaking about the same, playback singer Sona Mohapatra was also seen expressing her views which also talks about Kangana Ranaut.

Just a while ago, a user asked Sona Mohapatra whose side is she on, after reading her outsiders vs insiders tweet. To which she replied that she doesn't have to take any of ‘these’ sides. As her tweet read, "Insider ho ya outsider. When it comes to this ‘category’, mostly it’s ‘I Me Myself.’ Narcissistic, self-absorbed & zero concern for the 100 others who actually make a good film happen which gives only this ‘category’ disproportionate returns. The rest can keep slogging. Who cares."

Replying to this tweet, a Twitter user wrote, "Whose side are you on then .. the nepotistic incestuous one who will never include you? Some times choices are not obvious."

Responding the user comment, Sona then wrote, "I don’t have to take any of ‘these’ sides actually. I see things for what they are. Nepotism & incest must be wiped out. Yes. At the same time, Kangana Ranaut takes full advantage of the toxic ‘star system’, oppressing others herself. She is just as much of a player of this game."
