MUMBAI: The Sushant Singh Rajput case is one of the most talked-about cases and the topmost agencies are investigating it.
Since Rhea Chakraborty’s name has come out in the case, there has been a lot of false news and allegations on her which are yet to be proved. Recently, her neighbour had claimed that she had seen SSR and Rhea together a day before the former’s demise.
Now as per Mumbai Mirror, her lawyer has come out and said that the news is baseless and that there is no truth to the reports. Rhea’s team has decided to go a legal way where she will be filing a defamation case against all those who have shared false news about her.

The actress will be filing one against her neighbour and all those media portals who tried to defame her and spoil her name.
As of now, the legal team hasn’t yet given anyone’s name as such against whom they will be filing a defamation case.
Her lawyer has released a statement which stated that ‘once Rhea Chakraborty is out on bail, we will start going after people who defamed and tried to destroy her life and morale for a two-minute glory on electronic media carrying fake news.’
It also read that they will forward a list of names to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) who made fake and false claims on TV and electronic media, including carrying mobile recording and fake stories on SSR case with particular reference to Rhea Chakraborty.
‘We will request CBI to initiate legal proceedings against them for misleading the investigation,’ said the actress’ lawyer.
