MUMBAI: The Sushant Singh Rajput case saw a big development in the last few days, with Rhea, Showik and Samuel Miranda confessing to having procured and consumed drugs.
Rhea was arrested by the NCB on Friday, and her bail plea was heard in the special court and rejected.
As per Times Now, the detailed order said that it is to be kept in mind that the court does not have to consider the material as if it is pronouncing the judgment of acquittal or recording a finding of not guilty.
Showik and the others' bail pleas were rejected by Special Judge GB Gurao. The court also added that after her release, she could tamper with evidence related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case and the NCB had told the court that there were many chats that nailed the actress' involvement in the drug cartel.

On the other hand, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde has sought her bail on the grounds that no drugs were seized from her and she was forced to make a statement. Rhea was booked under section 27(A) of the NDPS Act, which is a non-bailable offence.
Well, after their pleas being rejected, the duo will be applying for bail in the High Court.
