MUMBAI: Right from the teaser and trailer, buzz for Savi has been quite strong. Now closer to the release, the film's special screening has begun and it brings to light, the power and resilience of a simple housewife. Actress Divya Khossla has been praised for her performance in and as Savi. The film's first screening saw praise coming her way, even director Abhinay Deo is being lauded for his powerful storytelling. With so much buzz around, the song Khol Pinjra is here to inspire the audience further.
Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, the song's music has been composed by Arkadeep Karmakar. Lyrics for Khol Pinjra are given by Ritajaya Banerjee. As the name suggests, the song is an inspirational one driving Savi to take charge of life in her hands and correct all the wrongs. Savi's story is inspired by the legend of Sati Savitri who fought with Yamraj to win back her husband's life.
An Abhinay Deo film Savi is produced by Mukesh Bhatt, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar, under the banners of Vishesh Films and T-Series. Shiv Chanana and Sakshi Bhatt have joined in as co-producers. The film is an edge of the seat thriller action, to know how a simple housewife masterminds a dangerous jail break and whether she succeeds in executing it, head to the theatres near you on 31st May, 2024.
