MUMBAI : Mumbai Police is currently interrogating many people in the Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. From his rumored girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, friend Sandip Ssingh, supposed roommate Siddharth Pithani to YRF's casting director Shanoo Sharma - many people who were close to Sushant were called in to record their statements according to reports from Spotboye. Yesterday, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali made it to Bandra Police Station to record his statement.
According to a report in RepublicWorld.com, Sanjay Leela Bhansali informed the police that he had last met SSR in 2016. Further, the report also claims that CCTV footage of SSR's building has been officially seized.

As per the report published by the portal and inputs by Spotboye, Sanjay Leela Bhansali informed the cops that he met the late actor in the year 2016 and had almost cast him in Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ramleela. However, due to date issues, they could not collaborate on the project. RepublicWorld.com reported that SLB was interrogated with 30-35 questions by the police and the filmmaker revealed that he was unaware of Sushant's mental distress.
In the latest update regarding the case, the report also claims that the police have seized the CCTV footage of the building where Sushant hanged himself. There weren't any cameras installed in the actor's house, says the report.
For the unversed, it was on June 14 that the Kai Po Che actor died by suicide. He was reportedly found hanging by the ceiling fan in his apartment through his house boy. The actor was reportedly battling depression and was undergoing treatment. He did not leave behind a suicide note, leading to many questions. The postmortem report of the actor has however confirmed that he died by asphyxiation due to hanging.
