MUMBAI : The unsolved case of Sushant Singh Rajput death is still on and the world is waiting for the CBI to come out and give a closure to the case and know exactly what happened on the 14th of June 2020.

Aaditya Thackeray has now moved the Bombay HC requesting to be heard before any order is passed in a public order litigation in Sushant Singh Rajput as well as Disha Salian’s “mysterious deaths”. Aaditya has demanded a CBI probe into the deaths of both.

Thackeray on 13th October, filed an application through advocate Rahul Arote. As per the application the PIL was not maintainable as a probe in the matter was already on by state machinery.

Rashid Khan Pathan, President of Supreme Court & High Court Litigants Association of India in his PIL demanded the immediate arrest and custodial interrogation of Thackeray in connection with the deaths of Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput.

The HC is yet to take up the PIL. Arote said, “We have filed an intervention application saying we should be heard before any order is passed. We have said the PIL is not maintainable as the investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput matter is already on by CBI.” He further added, “How can any order be passed in a PIL when a state machinery is already seized of the probe.”

The PIL asked for a direction to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to probe Thackeray, a former Maharashtra minister, and for a comprehensive probe report to be submitted.

After Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on 14th June 2020, the Mumbai police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) case and began a probe. The actor’s father in July filed a complaint with the Bihar police alleging that Rajput’s then girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family members had abetted his suicide.

On 8th June 2020, Sushant Singh’s manager Disha Salian fell from the 14th floor of a suburban building in Malad. A case of AD was registered by the police.
