Sushant Singh Rajput death probe: Autopsy report reveals no injury or fracture in actor's neck

SSR's autopsy was done on June 14th at 11 PM but was documented on 15th June 2020.

MUMBAI: The Sushant Singh Rajput case deepens with every passing day. The CBI has landed in Mumbai and has begun their investigation.

The post-mortem report confirmed that he died by 'asphyxia due to hanging'. Times Now has accessed the complete and detailed autopsy report of Sushant Singh Rajput.

It mentions the ligature marks on the actor's neck and back. The report further alleges that there were no injuries or fractures around his neck and brain and everything seemed normal and intact. However, very minor haemorrhages are also found, as per the autopsy report.

Times Now also mentioned that the autopsy report claimed that the thorax and walls of the ribs are intact, and there is no dislocation or evidence of fracture.

There were several reports suggesting that on the day of Sushant's death, the actor consumed coconut water or juice. Furthermore, coming to the 'stomach and its content' section of the autopsy, it is revealed that '50 cc of brownish colour fluid was present', but what exactly is that brownish substance has not been revealed.

The CBI has begun their investigation and will be going through the autopsy and viscera reports and will be sending them to forensic experts too.
