Sushant Singh Rajput Demise: Bihar Police wants to recreate late actor's death scene at his residence

According to reports, the police officials from Bihar want to recreate the late actor's death scene in his room and have asked for forensic evidence from the Mumbai Police for this very reason.

MUMBAI: Last week, more than a month after Sushant Singh Rajput's demise, his father KK Singh had filed a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty over abetment to suicide. In his FIR, Singh accused Rhea and her family of fraud, theft, exploiting and blackmailing among other things. Ever since then, the Bihar Police's investigation in Sushant's demise is underway. After checking Sushant's bank transactions and taking statements from a couple of his associates, the Bihar Police is now keen on doing the first-hand investigation at Sushant's flat, where he allegedly hung himself to death.

In a report by Republic, the police officials from Bihar are wanting to recreate the late actor's death scene in his room and have asked for forensic evidence from the Mumbai Police for this very reason. As per sources close to the news portal, the Bihar police has sent a written request to the Bandra police for all the forensic evidence related to Sushant's case. Reportedly, since the Bihar police have taken up the probe more than a month after the Kedarnath actor's demise, in their request, they have asked for photographs and videos of Sushant's mortal remains, all the fingerprints on the doorknob, the bed, photographs of his hanging body, the clothes he wore last and other on-site evidence like as his bags, electronic devices and gadgets.

As per Republic, once all the formalities are completed, the incident will be recreated in the presence of the forensic team.

In a conversation with Republic, Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey was quoted as saying, "Initially, FIR was lodged on June 25 against 6 people. On 27th the team left and they visited Sushant's society, where he lived. 28th, the team met Mumbai Police and were asked to meet the local DCP Crime but couldn't meet. After 29th, the things went smoothly. Mumbai Police has assured that they will help and co-operate. What is important in this is the satisfaction of the complainant. He is an old man and he cannot travel to Mumbai to fight the case. All the evidence is available with Mumbai Police and the list has been given to Mumbai authorities for them to submit.
