Sushant Singh Rajput to play Mahendra Singh Dhoni on silver screen

It's official. Sushant Singh Rajput will play Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the biopic based on the Indian skipper's life. This will be Sushant's second brush with cricket onscreen, the first one being in his debut movie Kai Po Che. The biopic apparently faced trouble since the BCCI was reportedly not willing to grant their consent till the time Dhoni remained an active player of the Indian team. But sources suggest that this Monday all required permissions were granted reportedly on the understanding that the movie wouldn't interfere with the cricketer's professional cricket career. The film will be helmed by Neeraj Pandey of A Wednesday fame. The makers today released the first look of the film featuring Sushant Singh wearing Dhoni's seven numbered jersey.
