MUMBAI : After a two-months-long protest and demand for CBI to probe the mysterious death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the Supreme Court of India finally transferred the death case of the actor to the Central Bureau of Investigation. Welcoming the team to Mumbai, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti rested her belief in them in her recent tweet.
Taking to her twitter handle, Shweta stated that she has full faith in the premier investigation agency and also believed that justice will be served to the late actor and his family.

She wrote, ‘#CBIInMumbai The whole world has relentlessly fought for CBI Enquiry and now it is the responsibility of CBI to uphold our trust in them, we have full faith that CBI will most definitely bring the truth out and justice will be served. #CBIForSSR #justiceforsushantsinghrajput.’
Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta has been at the forefront, demanding justice and leading the global campaign for the late actor with the support of his fans and followers across the world. She is also often seen sharing updates of the case and throwback pictures with her late brother on Instagram and they are an absolute treat for his fans.
Recently, the Supreme Court ruled in favour of the popular demand for a CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, declining Rhea Chakraborty’s plea to transfer the case to Mumbai. Sushant’s father KK Singh had filed an FIR against the actress in Bihar alleging abetment to suicide and money laundering amongst other charges. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14.
