MUMBAI: The sudden demise of Sushant has shocked the nation and the entertainment industry. People cannot believe that the actor committed suicide as he was one of the most fun-loving persons they ever knew.

The actor’s fans and well-wishers are still coming to terms with this news and are still asking the reason behind his decision to end his life.  His family is devasted with the news. The actor didn’t have an easy career like how it seemed. He was replaced in quite some movies and had struggled to make it big. He had made a name in television but had to work hard to make a name in Bollywood.

In 2013, the actor was considered for the role of Ram in Sanjay Bhansali’s Ram Leela but was later replaced by Ranveer Singh in the movie. Apparently, he was supposed to do Befikre also but again was replaced by Ranveer. Mukesh Bhatt recently said that Sushant was very keen in working with the Bhatt’s and he had auditioned for Aashiqui 2. He was almost finalised but then things didn’t work out and he was replaced by Aditya Roy Kapur. Secondly, he also revealed during the casting of Sadak 2, Sushant was the first choice but again owing to some problems he was replaced once again by Adiya in the movie.

Again, this shows the struggle dealing with nepotism and having good 'connections'.
