MUMBAI : The makers of the upcoming historical drama ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’ revealed an intriguing poster of Ankita Lokhande as ‘Yamunabai’. The poster shows how Ankita has delved deep into the skin of her character of Yamunabai, wife of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Her de-glam look as well as the raw avatar has added authenticity to her role. While first half of the poster reveals her vision to help her husband, the second half showcases her unwavering support and love towards Savarkar. The actress excitedly took to her social media to share the poster.
Ever since the poster released, Ankita’s fans have been going frenzy over her raw appearance. The film, also headlined by Randeep Hooda, promises to put spotlight on Ankita's acting prowess.
'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' marks Randeep Hooda’s directorial debut. The film explores an interesting untold historical narrative of this famous revolutionary. It will head to the theatres in cinemas on March 22.
