The much-loved reel pair of Bollywood, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, is all set to rekindle their magic with Badrinath Ki Dulhania, which is said to be the sequel to Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
The movie, set in rural India, will present the dynamic duo in a totally different avatar. In the first look, Alia is seen at a fair, with Varun chasing her on his bike.
She eventually rides pillion with him because she’s Badrinath Ki Dulhania! Interestingly, there were blind reports doing the rounds that Sidharth Malhotra was apparently rather insecure about Alia sharing screen space with her alleged former-crush Varun.
Varun, who’s already make quite a mark in B-Town, will be seen in his brother Rohit’s Dishoom this year, while Alia is gearing up for Udta Punjab and Gauri Shinde’s untitled flick.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the rom-com is slated for 10 March, 2017 release.
