MUMBAI: Anushka Sen is one of the youngest and most talented actresses of our generation, making a mark globally. As an actor with a massive following across social media platforms, she is bridging the gap between India and various countries. She is appointed the Honorary Brand Ambassador of Korean Tourism at a young age. She frequently travels to South Korea, embracing their culture and introducing them to Indian traditions. In a recent interview, Sen shared that while interacting with South Koreans, she realized their deep love for India, especially Indian food.

Anushka revealed that Koreans love gorging on Garlic Naan and Butter Chicken, popular Indian dishes, saying, “They love our food. They love Shah Rukh Khan and our movies.”

When asked which perception about India she’d like to change among South Koreans, Anushka instead addressed a common Indian misconception—that South Korea lacks vegetarian, vegan, and Jain food options. She refuted this, saying, “That’s not the case. You can find it right now. There are places you can find vegetarian food.”

Anushka Sen is truly excelling in bridging the gap between South Koreans and Indians. She is also making her mark in the South Korean entertainment industry with several exciting projects lined up. She is set to star in the international Korean film Asia and its spin-off series Crush, alongside South Korean Olympic shooter Kim Ye-ji.

As the first Indian celebrity to appear on billboards in South Korea, her popularity extends beyond India. She further cemented her international reputation by collaborating with Grammy-winning Ken Lewis and musician AY Young on Project 17, making history as the first Indian performer to play live in Times Square, New York City. Fans are eagerly excited to witness her upcoming endeavors.
