Third generation Samanta joins Bollywood gang

In his pursuit to carry on the legacy that his father the late Shakti Samanta left behind, his son Ashim Samanta has launched his son Aditya Samanta in his soon-to-be released film Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai. The film, that also stars Nazia Hussain, is set in a set of two proud Indian families comprising of the Rathores and Choudharys who are both wealthy hoteliers from Udaipur. An unsolved murder of a family combined with business rivalry and the need to prove their up-manship deepens the enmity. Twenty three years later, after a girl (Karishma) is born to the Rathore family and a boy (Karan) to the Choudhury family, the two meet one summer in Poland from where their journey of love and togetherness begins… Said Ashim Samanta, “I somehow developed the feeling of carrying forward the legacy that my father left behind and what better than launching my own son Aditya into films with my next.” Aditya was officially launched at the music release of the film attended by veterans Farida Jalal, Moushumi Chatterjee, Mohnish Behl, Anu Malik, Neeraj Shridhar and Anmol Malik (daughter of Anu Malik) among others. Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai will officially release on 3 August.
