MUMBAI: As fans of Hindi movies, we always have desires of some really epic collaborations. When these desires come true, it's either overwhelming if the movie does well, or just a desire for re-doing of the collaboration with a better project.

A collaboration desire came true for a lot of people when we saw the announcement of the Hindi movie 'Thugs Of Hindustan'. The movie featured an epic collaboration of Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan. The movie's announcement made the fans go crazy in excitement.
But here's what a lot of people in the audience are unaware of - Thugs Of wasn't the first time when these two actors collaborated or teamed up. In fact, there was a movie in the early 2000s wherein the two had come together.
The movie was titled 'Rishtaa' and the director of this movie was directed by Indra Kumar, the same director who gave us movies like Beta, Rishtey, Masti (the franchise) and many more. The movie unfortunately never released and was shelved but the interesting part is that the movie was also going to feature Madhuri Dixit.
That's right! For some reason, the movie never saw the light if the day and for that time, the fans who desired this collaboration were disappointed as they could not get to watch this collaboration. However, their desires were fulfilled when Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan finally came together for Thugs Of Hindustan after so many years.
