Tiger's mom unfazed by Twitter taunts

Attempts to pull down Tiger Shroff have left his family unperturbed, if not downright amused. Apparently the barrage of jokes about Tiger’s name and his looks that made their way on Twitter were orchestrated by certain vested interests in the entertainment industry. On condition of anonymity a prominent filmmaker comments, “It is no coincidence that the minute Jackie’s son’s trailer and first song went viral there were all these nasty taunts and barbs about him. Some A-listers have been openly sniggering about not just Tiger but the whole new brigade that has come in to threaten their unchallenged hegemony. The mean comments about Tiger on Twitter are a manifestation of the widespread insecurity that the new breed has caused among the established stars.” Apparently a very prominent star-producer who is best-friends with a Khan superstar can’t stop hearing the Khan A-lister sniggering over the fact the star-producer is launching a new star kid. Tiger’s mother Ayesha doesn’t deny that the Twitter taunts on Tiger are in all likelihood orchestrated. Says the protective but amused mother, “Perhaps these taunts are orchestrated. I can’t really say. But in any case these comments are only a drop in the ocean. By and large the response to Tiger has been positive, happy and encouraging. Every potentially great personality has faced his share of ridicule at some point in his life and career.” Tiger’s mom would rather laugh about the rude comments than brood over them. “I’d like to take it in a humorous spirit. The tremendous outpouring of love and appreciation Tiger has so far got for his hard work and for being the person that he is, I think is the most befitting reply to all the nasty comments. The naysayers can eat their heart out or get as mean as they like, Tiger is here to stay.”
