The Bollywood film Uri: The Surgical Strike is not only doing great in the domestic circuit but is also enjoying success in the overseas market.
The Aditya Dhar directorial is a dramatised account of the retaliation to the 2016 Uri attack, and the film stars Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Mohit Raina, and Yami Gautam in lead roles.
The revenge war drama, according to media reports, is set to cross the Rs 250 crore mark today at the worldwide box office.
Yami is ecstatic with the response to Uri, and how people belonging to deferent age groups have connected with the film as she said to a publication, “The box office success of a film is always something that is gratifying as an actor. But gratifying as a person is when people personally reach out to you and feel personally connected with the film. Be it a six-year-old kid to a 90-year-old, it's great how everyone has connected with the film, and the kind of messages that we are getting, the videos that have come our way and the 'josh' that the entire country is feeling. I will never forget 'Uri..'."
