Varun Dhawan apologises for his 'Kangana Ranaut' folly on the IIFA podium

The entire nation is aware of Kangana’s candid chat moment on Koffee with Karan.

It was the highlight of the night when the much celebrated director Karan Johar was roasted on his own show, and was called ‘The flag bearer of nepotism’ by the fiery Kangana Ranaut.

Then it was the glittering night at the IIFA’s this year. This year’s IIFA was dedicated to women empowerment and gender equality. And it was a lovely display of the genuine interest in these topics! (Please don’t take it literally)

During the show Karan Johar and Saif Ali Khan who were the hosts of the night decided to take a dirty dig at Kangana Ranaut! Varun Dhawan joined the duo and this is what happened:

Karan: Varun , do you think you get movies because f your talent? you get movies because of your talent?

Saif: I think you get them because of your papa

Varun: And Saif you get them because of your mamma

And did it end there? No!

Even though Kangana like always was not present in the awards function, all the three of them cheered out loud and clear “Nepotism rocks”.

People started tweeting against the entire scene almost immediately and now Varun Dhawan has finally realised the folly of his actions!

We think Varun is a bit too late. This is what he tweeted:
