MUMBAI: Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike was a huge success. The film won hearts. The actor was also honoured with the National Award that year for his performance. On Sunday, he visited the Uri base camp in Kashmir, after receiving an invitation. He took to his Instagram to share pictures from his recent visit and thanked the Indian Army for inviting him.
He wrote, “My heartfelt thanks to the Indian Army for inviting me to the Uri Base Camp, Kashmir.” Thanking the Indian Army, he added, “Thank You for giving me an opportunity to spend a lovely day with the locals who were so full of warmth and amazingly talented.” He concluded his post with, “Thank You. Jai Hind” As soon as the actor shared pictures on his Instagram, comments from his fans started flooding in.
