MUMBAI : Actor Vicky Kaushal responded on social media to a person who made conjectures about the plot of his movie Bad Newz, prior to the release of the trailer. Ammy Virk and Triptii Dimri have major parts in Bad Newz as well. In order to keep fans interested before the movie's trailer is out, the stars have been working hard to promote the movie and have been giving out small clues about its plot.
One of Vicky's recent promotional Instagram pictures had a user write a whole idea in the comments section that he believed to be the plot of Bad Newz. The user's theory states that after both Vicky and Ammy's characters submit their sperm samples, it becomes unclear whose sperm was actually injected into Triptii. This is when the true issue arises. The commenter said that Triptii may not be carrying either of their children in the movie, which might be one of the shocks.
One user wrote, “"Dono ko baccha chahiye, dono kisi toh company wagerah m sperm donate karenge ki surrogacy se karwa do. To this Vicky commented, “Dharma ki Film hai… Nolan ki nahi.”
It was revealed a few days ago that the movie is based on a real-life event and an uncommon medical condition. Pregnancy is the main source of conflict in Bad Newz, according to a MidDay investigation. It is based on a medical phenomenon known as heteropaternal superfecundation, in which a woman conceives twins from different males, a source told the news portal.
This is the first lighthearted comedy drama by Triptii. It is said that she will romance both Vicky and Ammy in the movie.
The movie Bad Newz is scheduled to open in theaters on July 19, 2024. Mehboob Mere Sanam was the previous title of the movie. The planned release date was February 2024. But it was postponed. Neha Dhupia also stars in the movie.
