MUMBAI: The deadly Coronavirus is spreading rapidly and sparing no one. Everyone is getting affected by it. Recently, 28 members from a Zee news channel were tested positive for COVID-2019. While journalists are allowed to remotely work amidst the crisis, it is the head of the news channel Sudhir Choudhary who is being blamed for allegedly expecting a 100 percent attendance in the news studio during such crucial times. This despite a person testing positive, he asked everyone to come to work as reported by New Laundry. Sharing the link of the article, filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane has slammed the head of the studio.
Here's what Vikramaditya tweeted:
Slow clap for this vermin who blamed the tablighi for the spread of covid but ignored social distancing norms and insisted on 100% attendance from zee employees. 28 are now positive.

News Laundry has testimonials of several employees of Zee News stating that they were scared to report to the office as it was not safe. However, as per an employee, Sudhir Choudhary threatened the staff saying, "I don’t want to listen to any more complaints about someone’s fever or cough from tomorrow. Remember this: all of you will recover from the fever, but for the one who complains, it will never be the same.”
