While Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and different Bollywood stars determined to launch their movies at the OTT systems throughout the COVID pandemic, a manufacturer who stayed company on his choice approximately liberating the films in theatres was, Aditya Chopra.
Currently, Aditya's manufacturing residence has numerous movies covered up for the discharge that includes 'Bunty Aur Babli 2', 'Shamshera', 'Prithviraj', 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar'. The manufacturer has hung on the discharge of those films for over 18 months and is persevering with to do so.
A source told a leading website that the production house has been approached through numerous OTT platforms. But Aditya is obvious that his films are intended to be launched in theatres.
The source further told the website that after the second wave of pandemic and no clear indication on reopening of theatres in Maharashtra, OTT giant Amazon Prime Video made an offer to Chopra to buy the 4 films for Rs 400 crore. However, the producer gave a straight 'No' as an answer.
As Adi became now no longer geared up to promote all 4 of the films which protected the magnum opus 'Prithviraj' and 'Shamshera', the OTT platform was prepared to strike a deal for the alternative movies - 'Bunty Aur Babli 2' and 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar'. However, they were given a 'No' once more from the producer.
The record in addition said that the producer will quickly announce the release dates of the respective movies.
