MUMBAI: The next year is full of many exciting film releases, especially from King Khan, who is set to star in 3 big upcoming films. Another upcoming film, which is from Tamil actor Karthi, named Sardar, will also take to the big screens soon. A Twitter user noticed similarities between the two films' plots and began to share his findings on the platform.

In one of his tweets, trade analyst and film buff Christopher Kanagaraj, wrote, “Karthi’s #Sardar & Atlee’s #Jawan Rendume onnu thaan. Both are Same Story.” In another tweet, he added, “Dad - RAW Agent Son - Police Agent Dad gets stuck in a different place/country while on a mission (due to villain character), after years he comes to take revenge on villain. There he meets his son. Then Flashback..”

Editor Ruben, who has worked on both Jawan and Sardar, noticed these tweets and decided to call out the guy while also schooling him for his eccentric, and unverified claims. He jokes about his find and later challenges the Twitter user to see if the movies are the same after their release.

Sardar is a Tamil action spy movie set to release this Diwali on the 21st of October. The film has already created a lot of excitement, owing to its captivating trailer and the lead star Karthi's exciting characters. It is directed by P. S. Mithran. Jawan is an upcoming Hindi action thriller, written and directed by Atlee, starring Shah Rukh Khan (who also plays multiple characters), Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and many more well-known stars. It is set to launch in June of 2023.
