MUMBAI : Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor was last featured in the enormously successful film Animal, has previously discussed what happens when he and his actor-wife Alia Bhatt argue or fight. Ranbir disclosed that he thinks that after a fight, people should give each other space, while Alia won't let it go until she proves her point.

Ranbir had stated during an interview for a popular entertainment portal with Kareena Kapoor Khan, “If there is a fight, I can just kind of take some space. Alia is somebody, she is a lawyer, so if she feels that she was wronged, she will not let go until she makes her point clear. And I am the guy who has no ego, don’t have self-respect also. I am very happy saying sorry even when I am right or wrong, But I like the concept of space."

The actor also said that sometimes they say things in the heat of the moment. He added, “When a couple fights, sometimes to hurt each other, lot of things are said for effect and you don’t really mean it. Meanwhile, the other person thinks that you’re coming from a place of something. So that person takes those 3-4 words and it stays with that person, then you have to clarify it. So it always comes with the heat of the moment."

On the Brahmastra set, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt fell in love. In November 2022, they welcomed their daughter Raha into the world after getting married in April 2022.

Alia talked candidly last month about juggling the responsibilities of being a working mother with the guilt of neglecting her own mother. In conversation with her mother, actress Soni Razdan, Alia spoke about how she wouldn’t want Raha to move out of home in her early 20s.

Alia recalled while talking to the popular magazine, “I remember when I was pregnant and shooting in London for Heart of Stone, I couldn’t sleep for three days because I felt so guilty about how maybe I wasn’t a good enough daughter."

Soni added, “She works hard on her mental health, but there are days she feels anxious about not picking up my calls or giving us any attention."

Alia said that she couldn’t get enough time to spend with her mother because she started working when she was just 23.

She said, “I was barely 23 when I moved out of the house. I’d be away on long shooting schedules, and sometimes you wouldn’t even know which city I was in. So that was a defining point in my life, and our relationship. But I do feel I left home too soon—and I won’t let that happen with Raha. Believe it or not, usually I’m a forward-thinking kind of person, but with Raha, I’m just taking each day as it comes. Papa recently told me: ‘If you don’t let Raha fall down, it will be the biggest mistake you’ll make because she’ll never learn how to pick herself up.’"
