MUMBAI: It's finally here! It has been a long time since fans heard anything about the Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone film 83. Coronavirus outbreak forced the film's release to be delayed. However, we now know when the film will be released. Ranveer shared a teaser of the film and announced that it will hit theaters on December 24.

83 has been a passion project for Ranveer Singh and it has a wonderful Star cast! . Ranveer announced the release date of the trailer on his Instagram account with a 59-second video. He captioned the post , "The greatest Story. The greatest Glory. 83 RELEASING IN CINEMAS ON 24TH DEC, 2021, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Teaser out now. Trailer out on 30th Nov. #ThisIs83.”

83 WAS LAST YEAR'S CHRISTMAS RELEASE
Due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, Ranveer Singh's 83's Christmas 2020 release got pushed. The film was earlier scheduled to release on April 10, 2020. This story is based on the 1983 World Cup win of the Indian cricket team. Kabir Khan directed the film.
In the movie, Ranveer Singh portrays Kapil Dev, the captain of the World Cup-winning team. While Deepika will essay the role of Kapil Dev's wife.
Apart from Ranveer and Deepika, the film features a talented ensemble cast, including actors like Saqib Saleem, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Ammy Virk, Chirag Patil, Harrdy Sandhu, Jiiva, Sahil Khattar, Jatin Sarna, Pankaj Tripathi, and Boman Irani, among others.
