Year Ender 2022! Actresses who ruled the big screens with their amazing performances

MUMBAI: Alia Bhatt, Tabu, and more, many actresses left a mark this year with their amazing performances in movies that were released in theatres 
 
2022 was not a great year for Bollywood when it comes to the box office. However, we cannot ignore that we got to see some amazing performances in movies. Also, unfortunately, many female-led movies were released on OTT this year. 
 
But, some actresses performed well in movies and also gave hits, and some gave excellent performances irrespective of the box office collections of their films. So, today, let’s look at the list of the actresses who ruled the big screens with their amazing performances this year…

Alia Bhatt

No, she is not on the list for saying Shivaaaa in Brahmastra. Alia Bhatt started the year with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. When the teaser and the trailer of the film were released, people thought that she is a miscast, but after the movie was released, each and everyone praised Alia for her fantastic performance in it. Alia is a great performer and SLB got the best out of her.

Tabu

2022 belonged to Tabu. One actress, who has only given hits this year, is Tabu. Her first release of the year was Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which became a super hit at the box office and she gave an excellent performance in the film. Last month, she starred in Drishyam 2 and even this movie became a super hit. Her performance in both movies was appreciated a lot.

Neetu Kapoor

After a gap of nine years, Neetu Kapoor made a comeback this year with a great performance in Jugjugg Jeeyo. The film did reasonably well at the box office, and it was a treat to watch the veteran actress on the big screen opposite Anil Kapoor.

Taapsee Pannu

When it comes to the box office, 2022 was a bad year for Taapsee Pannu. But, we cannot ignore the fact that she acted well in her movies, especially Shabaash Mithu. The movie was a biopic on cricketer Mithali Raj, and though the film received mixed reviews, Taapsee’s performance in it was a sixer.  
 

Kajol

Kajol’s fans were super excited for Salaam Venky, but the film failed to make a mark at the box office, and received mixed reviews. But, everyone praised Kajol’s acting in it as the actress gave an amazing performance in the movie. We are sure her fans are waiting for more such performances from her.
