Cake cutting time for the two Anandis!

It’s a coincidence that Balika Vadhu celebrated Anandi’s 18th birthday on Monday while it’s time to blow the candles for Pratyusha Banerjee too on August 10. Says Pratyusha, “We had been celebrating my on-screen birthday for a couple of days now and I am so happy that my birthday too is nearing. This time I will be shooting for Balika Vadhu on my birthday so double the reason to celebrate…” Interestingly, Avika Gor who played the younger Anandi also celebrated her ‘real’ birthday on June 30 on the sets. Says Avika, “Surekha Sikri (Dadisa) gave me a chocolate bar! And when Jagya gave me a gift in the serial, my school friends teased me that it was actually my birthday gift!”
