MSM Motion Pictures and Contiloe Entertainment have come together to produce ‘Darr @ the Mall’, a spine-chilling horror film. The producers are leaving no stone unturned in reaching out to the audience and getting them to experience the horror.
The marketing campaign of the film started off with the cast visiting a suburban mall. The team had the primary objective of delivering a clear and focused message. They intended to introduce the mall as a haunted one and ask people if they would shop there.
The digital campaign of the film clearly communicates the idea of ‘shopping in a haunted mall’, which caught the audience’s attention. The marketing team came up with a brilliant plan of 'Would you shop Here' for their second trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3IxQTq5-zFI&noredirect=1), spoofing popular e-commerce websites. The result of the ingenious idea has been a massive one million views within just two days of the launch of the trailer. No mean feat at all. Evidently, the marketers have crafted a well presented campaign which has succeeded in building up the viewers’ curiosity, to a crescendo.
The film stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Nushrat Bharucha, Arif Zakaria, Asif Basra, Nivedita Bhattacharya, Shraddha Kaul and Neeraj Sood in pivotal roles. Directed by Pavan Kripalani of 'Ragini MMS' fame, ‘Darr @ the Mall’ will release this Friday, 24 February, 2014.
