The much-hyped action fare is hitting the screens in January 2017 and the trailer is out. It's a total Vin Diesel show where his beefy body and thrilling stunts are in full glory.

He plays a 'different kind of soldier' and we can't wait for him to kick ass like he does. Even though the plot looks like a generic action-drama, where cars fly, gifts are highly synchronised, and hot gun-toting babes make their appearances, the trailer is cutting-edge and interesting only because of Vin's presence and cool fight scenes.

Now the best part, Bollywood top actress Deepika Padukone only has a blink-and-you-miss-it appearance, she looks killer in red lips and black separates. With a blade and gun, she sure knows how to tackle the baddies. We are yet to see her sizzling chemistry with Vin, which was visible in all the social media posts. Sigh.

It's a tad disappointing because we were expecting much more meat from our desi beauty. Ruby Rose, on the other hand, spouts the movie's punchline 'it's about girls, gun and global denomination'. Well, it sure is.

The camera work is crisp and fast, the music is catchy and relevant, and the acting is on-point. Directed by DJ Caruso, the film stars Vin Diesel, Deepika Padukone, Ruby Rose, and Samuel L Jackson in the lead.

It's set to hit the screens on January 20, 2017.
