Bollywood fashion trends of 2015

Bollywood fashion has certainly come a long way. From huge bouffants to dewy makeup, fashion has only gotten better. In fact, 2015 has been rather amazing in sartorial department. We do a quick round-up of the year that was in fashion...read on:

Nude makeup:

Nothing flashy cuts it this season as it's the generation of 'no makeup' makeup look. Also known as nude, this trend makes one look fresh, young and peppy. Yes, just like Deepika Padukone's on-point look from Tamasha. She is the high priestess of the flawless naturally makeup brigade. From peaches to sun-kissed oranges to blush pinks, there are many shades to give your skin a dazzling spin.

White sneakers:

This is the trend that's taking the country by storm. While it's making a rather sassy appearance onscreen (think Kriti Sanon in Manwa Emotion Laage), it's also sneaking it's way onto movie promotions and media events (think Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor and Kangna Ranaut).

Kurta and Palazzos:

Deepika Padukone popularised the kurta-palazzo combo in Piku. Thanks to her height, she could carry off bold kurtas with neat palazzos and chunky jewellery. She paired it with a big bindi and casual hair. What we wouldn't give to be like her, eh? You can take a cue from the actress and include this look in your next outing.

Reflector glares:

A must-have accessory of the glam brigade, reflector glares will up your FQ too. Whether it's a brunch with the BFFs or an impromptu outing with your partner, a snazzy pair of reflectors will take your fashion game notches higher than the rest. For cues, look up Ranbir Kapoor from Tamasha and SRK, Varun Dhawan from Dilwala.

Fusion wear:

Pairing bomber jackets with dhoti pants like Kangana Ranaut from Tanu Weds Manu Returns. It not only makes one look hatke, but also gives us a spunky vibe. Fusion wear has always been one of the easiest trends to pull off, so make it work!
