Shikha Singh, the talented actress who essays the role of Aaliya in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya, is the next to face the wrath of changing weather. The lady had been out for a 15 days vacation to the USA, and has been hit by illness ever since she returned. Says Shikha, “You name any pain and problem, and I have it. As soon as I got back to Mumbai after my trip to the USA, I saw extremely sunny days as well as the arrival of monsoon. The change in weather hit me hard. I have been down with fever for more than 10 days now. I also suffered a neck spasm.” Even though Shikha has taken all the stick, she has fought through her illness. “I am not a person who would faint or collapse on the set. Thankfully, God has given me enough strength that I go on and on and on. All this has not stopped me from shooting for Kumkum Bhagya (smiles). My doctor has rested my case, and has asked me not to come back to him. He wants me to take adequate rest, and I have been taking none. He is worried about me, at the same time angry too (laughs). To top it all, the track in Kumkum Bhagya focuses on me, as we are shooting for Aaliya’s wedding. I can’t afford to miss shoot, and hope the Gods will be kind on me and grant me better health in the days to come.” Shikha, may your prayers be heard!!
