Viewers will see a maha episode on Colors’ Hamari Saas Leela this Saturday wherein Leela’s two daughter-in-laws will enter the house. Neela Telefilms is working on incorporating actual Gujarati rituals in the wedding. A source says, “Leela wasn’t very happy with Harsh’s choice of getting married to Koyal as she had selected village girl Sejal for him. However since Sejal’s parents were more fond of Sameer, he will get married to Sejal now. Furthermore, Leela has also agreed on Harsh getting married to Koyal and hence the show will see two weddings. The wedding ceremony will be in typical Gujarati style and the creative team is working on it. Since Leela belongs to an upper-class Gujarati family it will be a lavish celebration but the essence of a Gujarati wedding won’t be missed.” Our source further adds, “The actual story will start only after the wedding as both the daughter-in-laws will enter the house and Leela’s responsibility will increase. The priority will be to make her bua’s feel comfortable in the house but this does not mean there won’t be clashes between them. In fact, Leela’s real struggle to understand her daughter-in-laws will begin after the wedding. It will be quite difficult for her to gel with Koyal’s way of living as she is a modern girl, however she will manage to strike a balance somewhere. The story will take a different turn after the wedding.” Apara Mehta aka Leela remained unavailable.
