In conversation with Nishad Vaidya

Nishad Vaidya
It is very difficult for aspirants to gain a footing in the television industry, especially the ones who do not have a background or reference or a Godfather. Similar was the case with the fine-looking Nishad Vaidya whose parents wanted to see him pursue his dream of becoming an actor. In conversation with the attractive man, we speak to Nishad about his journey in this industry. Said Nishad, “My family shifted from Gujarat to Mumbai as my dad wanted me to become an actor. He pushed me to do theatre for honing my acting abilities and learn the basics of performing art. I had been through almost 185 auditions before I bagged Amita Ka Amit and I am thankful to Swastik Productions for believing in me. I still remember the first time I auditioned for a show; I was so nervous that I could not even introduce myself.” Hmm…now that Nishad is not active on the television space, we are sure his fans definitely miss him. On questioning him about the same, he averred, “I get offers for episodic shows but I want to do a daily soap which would help me evolve and set a career graph. I am trying my hands in Bollywood too for the same. I am very choosy about my roles and this time around, I want to essay something which will bring a trendy and smart boy next door image to light. I want to try every shade so that I do not come across as typecast. “ While the talented and handsome man waits to bag a new project in his kitty, he is busy spending some quality time with his family and friends. A lover of poetry and books that he is, Nishad spends majority of his time writing. “I am also writing two short films based on crimes against women and will direct it too. I expect them to go viral on Youtube,” he added. Nishad we wish you luck and hope to see you sizzle on television soon!!!
